Your new role:

The Clinical Leader will support the establishment of the Caring Dads program in Western Australia, having direct oversight and working alongside the program facilitators and new providers to establish pathways via community stakeholder engagement and maintaining program fidelity.

This will include:

  • Provide clinical support to new funded Caring Dads services, inclusive of live supervision and provide feedback around areas for development.
  • Facilitate regular clinical review in line with the goals of the program, focusing on targeting interventions for individual participants within the group setting.
  • Work with the WA team to identify and capacity build their workforce to facilitate clinical review processes, ensuring sustainable practice and processes are in place.
  • Provide program facilitation and associated administrative tasks of 1 group per annum and facilitator training, secondary consultations and community education sessions as required.
  • Ensure the implementation of client feedback processes is adhered to and maintained.

About you:

  • A tertiary qualification in social work or a related field.
  • Must hold Caring Dads facilitation accreditation and Caring Dads facilitation trainer accreditation.
  • High level of experience and skills in training and clinical supervision
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in client engagement and working therapeutically with affected family members, where there is a history of trauma
  • Demonstrated experience in the leadership of multidisciplinary teams, including the provision of clinical supervision and the facilitation of clinical review and performance management processes.
