We're pleased to offer a part-time Early Childhood Teacher position at Botanic Ridge Kindergarten, located within the facility of Botanic Ridge Primary School. This school-based service is thoughtfully designed and embedded in a vibrant community, a wonderful opportunity to contribute to a high-quality early learning environment.

Your Role as an Early Childhood Teacher

  • Lead and contribute to high-quality programming and documentation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design meaningful learning experiences
  • Promote trauma-informed and culturally safe practices every day
  • Uphold compliance and regulatory requirements with integrity and professionalism
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and School Readiness Funding (SRF) plan
  • Engage in partnerships with key stakeholders and participate in community consultations
  • Listen actively and respond thoughtfully to the needs of children, families, and the community
  • Mentor and support team members through reflective practice and shared learning

Who You Are We're looking for an Early Childhood Teacher who:

  • Holds a Bachelor of Teaching (3-4 year qualification)
  • Has 3-5 years of experience as an Early Childhood Teacher
  • Brings warmth, energy, and enthusiasm
  • Communicates with clarity and compassion
  • Embraces innovation and continuous learning
  • Is committed to delivering high-quality early childhood experiences
  • Understands and actively promotes child safety and cultural safety
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks
  • Values collaboration and community engagement as part of their professional practice
