Your new role

As Case Manager, your purpose is to contribute to KFA's vision by supporting young people to engage in their education and by delivering results and sustainable growth.

The primary purpose of the Tailored Learning Case Manager position is to provide one-on-one assertive outreach case management services to young people supported by the Department for Education's Tailored Learning services. The individual will be responsible for managing an allocated case load with a focus on young person social and emotional wellbeing while fulfilling program reporting requirements.

You will also support the development, implementation and delivery of engagement and learning programs, as required.

About you

  • Previous experience working in client case management preferably with at risk young people experiencing trauma
  • Previous experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and a good understanding of the issues facing First Nations people is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience engaging young people in the development of case plans while working towards goals of education, vocational training, and employment
  • Excellent computer literacy skills, in particular Microsoft 365 applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
