Your new role
An exciting leadership opportunity awaits a passionate and skilled professional to take the reins of the Caring Dads program. You'll lead a committed team of expert group facilitators and practitioners, driving innovation, excellence, and outcomes in family violence recovery. This is your chance to guide a program that transforms lives, ensures model fidelity, and delivers measurable results.
In this pivotal role, you will:
- Lead and support the Caring Dads team, ensuring balanced caseloads, supervision, program fidelity, and high-quality service delivery.
- Monitor team performance against service targets, maintain accurate reporting systems, and ensure adherence to internal policies and external standards.
- Manage recruitment, induction, supervision, and professional development, including performance reviews and improvement plans.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with government, community stakeholders, and internal teams; represent the Caring Dads program in external forums.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, compliance, and safe work practices; participate in strategic planning and policy development, deputising for senior leaders as needed.
About you
- Hold a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, Counselling, Casework Practice, or a related field, with eligibility for membership with relevant professional body.
- Family Violence training is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in client engagement and working therapeutically with affected family members, where there is a history of trauma.
- Demonstrated experience in the leadership of multidisciplinary teams, including the provision of clinical supervision and the facilitation of clinical review and performance management processes.
- Expertise in current family violence theories and practice frameworks.
