Early Childhood Educator

- Hours: 18.30 per week

KFA delivers programs that are trauma informed, and all educators receive training and ongoing support to confidently embed these approaches. As a Child Safe Organisation, child safety is central to everything we do. All staff are required to complete National Child Safe Training Foundation and Advanced, and uphold the Child Safe Standards in daily practice.
About the Role
The Educator will work alongside the teaching team to deliver a rich, play based kindergarten program that celebrates cultural diversity and prioritises strong, respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the wider community. You will contribute to a welcoming environment where every family feels seen, heard, and supported.
What Were Looking For
- Cultural inclusion practice and respect for diverse communities
- Strong relationship building skills with children, families, the team, and the community
- Effective communication skills across culturally diverse contexts
- Understanding of trauma informed practice (training provided)Completion of National Child Safe Training Foundation and Advanced (or willingness to complete upon commencement)
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care
- Experience working in a culturally diverse community highly regarded
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma training
- Commitment to Child Safe Standards and ongoing child safety training
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
